Biodiversity, catalogued with rigour

Indonesia arrives in Yokohama with one case to make: biodiversity catalogued with rigour. The BPS 2025 Horticultural Statistics track 18 strategic commodities down to harvested area and productive plant count — not a story about natural wealth, but the data behind it.

GREEN×EXPO 2027 is an A1-class horticultural expo, AIPH approved and BIE recognised, running under the theme Scenery of the Future for Happiness. For 192 days, around 70 countries share one site at Kamiseya. Japan is a market that demands quality and a research partner that takes the work seriously — two reasons this is the right stage.

What Indonesia brings is not a pavilion to look at but a programme to follow: seven monthly themes, five agreements in progress, nine provinces, and CSR-fostered MSMEs stepping onto a global stage. This site sets out all of it.

Five goals

Five goals

  • 01

    Green diplomacy

Establish Indonesia as a reference point for green innovation and biodiversity in Southeast Asia, in front of delegations from around 70 countries.

  • 02

    Product promotion

Put tropical horticulture, biodiversity, floriculture, and food and agricultural products in front of Japanese and international buyers.

  • 03

    International collaboration

Open collaboration with Japan and others on horticultural technology, urban farming, biodiversity conservation and bioenergy.

  • 04

    Community empowerment

Bring MSMEs, farmers and social-environmental communities onto a global stage — as participants, not as backdrop.

  • 05

    Global branding

Show Indonesia's readiness to be a world food barn, with evidence that can be checked.

Pavilion

Cottage Indonesia

Not a pavilion to view from behind a rope. Four zones you can walk into: a tropical veranda, a cabana where the coffee is brewed, a garden you may touch, and the table where a visit becomes an agreement.

The veranda

Tropical architecture opened outward. Shade without walls — how Indonesian building handles heat, put to work on a Yokohama summer.
